Job Purpose:

The Supplier Onboarding Specialist (Entry Level) is responsible for collection of necessary supporting documents and the setup of new suppliers in the SCiSupplier application, as well as any setup changes for existing suppliers. This is an operational role, working closely with the Account Executive and Global Program Manager teams, who coordinate the more commercial aspects of the enablement process. The Supplier Onboarding Specialist will work with Global Account Executive Team to enable and onboard Suppliers that are participating in SCiSupplier programs as set up by their customers. These are pre-qualified prospects that are focused on executing all required legal documents in place, trained on the SCiSupplier trading platform and realizing the extraordinary benefits of the overall solution.

Job Functions:

  • Understands, complies with and initiates improvement of work instructions and technology tools for the Supplier Sales effort
  • Use internal tools and processes to guide the Supplier through the document collection phase of the onboarding process
  • Document all contact with Supplier and ensure that data is synchronized between systems
  • Assist suppliers with the bank account activation process for new suppliers as well as existing suppliers who wish to make changes to their accounts
  • Educate suppliers who are going through the enablement process and address any concerns that they have.  In some cases, escalating concerns to the Account Executive
  • Configure new suppliers in the SCiSupplier application
  • Manage workload using internal tools and develop strategy to contact suppliers in enablement
  • Augment the Customer Support group by assisting customers to resolve open support cases
  • Become proficient in all aspects of PrimeRevenue platform applications including SCiSupplier, SCiCustomer and SCiEnable
  • Perform other duties as assigned by line manager

Job Qualifications:

  • Earned Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Ability to work independently and self-managed in addition to being a contributing member of a team that is distributed in multiple locations worldwide
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Effective professional phone skills.  Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and remain courteous in all customer interactions
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate to support resources or regional staff
  • Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM solutions
  • Experience working with geographically distributed teams in a global organization a plus
  • Must be a TEAM Player
  • Be organized with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills using different approaches and technologies such as web conferencing, video-conference, etc.
  • Proficient in MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, experience with client management tool a plus
  • Start-up / high-growth technology firm experience preferred
